I was reading a post by a friend of a friend of a friend, and I was reminded one of my favorite poems. I’d like to share it with you:
I’m Nobody
By Emily Dickinson
I’m Nobody, who are you?
Are you Nobody, too?
Then there’s a pair of us, don’t tell.
They’d banish us, you know.
How dreary to be somebody,
How public, like a frog;
To tell your name the livelong day,
To an admiring bog.
Hope it brightens your day just a bit!
We had to memorize that in High School. Fun Fun. Thanks
I memorized this poem years ago just because I love it. I want to teach it to my nephew (since I’m probably the only one in the family who will take the time to teach the boy poetry).
Great Photo
I agree. Great photo.>>Great poem, too.
