I stumbled across this today; and since I’m about to begin reading Act 2 of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I decided it was a fitting thing to post about.
Oh, and if you have a chance, and you like Shakespeare, head over to Shakespeare Geek and read about how Duane’s children have become fascinated with Shakespeare. It’s amazing what a toy, a good story, and a cool ringtone can do.
nicole, we are such kindred spirits! 🙂 If i could just teach shakespeare and creative writing, i would have stayed an English teacher instead of an English major!
We are! I have dreamed of teaching Shakespeare someday. Of course, that means a master’s degree, possibly even a doctorate. Which is several more years of school. So, maybe that’s a long term goal. I would love to teach Shakespeare, Victorian Lit., and the Inklings. Unfortunately, that is not what high schools are looking for these days.>>I saw a TV show the other day that featured a school designed specifically for math geniuses. Maybe we should start our own private school that is specifically for English geniuses! Then, we could teach whatever we wanted!!!
